Our 4th Grade Team Consists of:

Our fourth grade students are currently reviewing our math skills from Module 1 (Place Value) all the way up to Module 5 (Fractions). 
We are working on reading with a lens of  power and perspective in reading and writing graphic novels using skills they learned when we worked on narrative writing. We are also studying immigration in New York.

Grading Policy for Writing

 Report Card Grades
Based On
 Grade Criteria

  Scaled score on
post on-demand assessments using Teachers college rubric for scoring. If multiple writing units occur during the marking period, the final report card grade is based on the average of all the post on-demand assessments. Deciding whether to round a half point up or down for the final grade is at the teacher’s discretion based on performance throughout the unit.
