Our Bucket Band

     The PS 131 Bucket Band is made up of approximately 30 fourth and fifth grade student drummers.  Our dedicated drummers meet Ms. DiBlasi and Ms. Sanderson before school three days a week for early-morning practice. We have many experienced drummers who performed for Field Day and Fifth-Grade Graduation last year, as well as many new drummers who dove right in and performed for our PS 131 Breast Cancer Awareness Walk and our PS 131 Fall Festival Character Parade this past month!

   The Bucket Band's most recent performance was for our Barnes and Nobles Fundraiser held in December. They teamed up with the PS 131 Glee Club to provide shoppers with a beautiful holiday experience.  Click on this Music Special Programs webpage link to enjoy two of of our favorite holiday selections.
